Three Bridge Fiasco Race Committee volunteers needed

Hello, all.

I hope many of you will race Fiasco and have a great time out there.

But for those of you who are understandably reluctant to get into the melee, please consider coming out to help on race committee. You'll meet other SSS racers, and have a front-row seat to the biggest "crazy fun" race on San Francisco Bay. With 300-350 boats on a typical year, we can use all the people we can get. Expreience helping at races is very valuable, but everyone starts somewhere, so don't let a lack of experience on RC deter you from volunteering.

Last year we had fourteen (14) helping out on the race deck to put on San Francisco Bay's biggest race, by number of entries.

With less than a week to the race, I have six (6) people signed up to help. We need seven (7) more volunteers!

PLEASE send email to racechair@sfbaysss.org if you're able and willing to help with the race. Even sitting in a camping chair with a clipboard for 2 1/2 hours to record boats getting too close to the starting line before their time is useful.
